About the role

  • Our mission will be to develop statistical models, segmentations and solutions leveraging GenAI models.
  • We work directly with Product, Risk, Commercial and Customer Service leadership, translating data into business strategies that generate value.
  • You will have the opportunity to work on end-to-end projects, bringing advancement and intelligence to the business.
  • Develop high-complexity, high-impact statistical models, segmentations and solutions for a variety of business areas (Product, Risk, Commercial, Collections and Customer Service).
  • Provide technical mentorship to the team, perform code reviews and define the area's quality standards.
  • Understand the business strategies of the departments we serve at the Bank, identifying new opportunities for improvement and influencing business strategy.
  • Negotiate end-to-end project scope, manage stakeholder expectations, map risks and plan in clear phases.
  • Ensure implementation of developed models together with MLOps teams, anticipating challenges and proposing solutions.
  • Ensure strategic, clear storytelling for developed projects to present and drive adoption of the created models across the Bank's areas.
  • Lead and develop analytical studies using traditional techniques, Machine Learning and GenAI.
  • Develop and oversee the deployment of the feature store.
  • Lead and propose process automation projects for the area to ensure increased productivity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics or a related field.
  • Proven extensive experience as a Senior Data Scientist, leading the development of complex models with significant business impact.
  • Advanced proficiency in PySpark, Python and SQL for architecture and Big Data processing.
  • Deep experience with Databricks or similar cloud platforms, including data optimization and governance.
  • Experience in mentoring, code review and defining standards and best practices for developing statistical models.
  • Strategic communication skills to influence, negotiate and present results to executives and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Deep business understanding and a proven ability to identify opportunities and develop strategic vision.
  • Knowledge of analytical solutions architecture, including MLOps and scalability.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) to tell the story of results.
  • Experience duration: Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in Data Science.
  • MLOps: Minimum required experience: 2 to 4 years.
  • Databricks: Minimum required experience: 3 to 5 years.
