About the role

  • Exploratory Data Analysis: Conduct exploratory analyses to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in the data.
  • Data Visualization: Create clear, informative visualizations (dashboards, reports, charts) to effectively communicate insights to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with business and technology teams to understand requirements, implement solutions, and ensure the proper application of generated insights.
  • Develop and maintain strategic dashboards and reports using Looker and other tools such as Power BI to present clear, actionable insights to teams and leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong experience in analyzing and manipulating large datasets and data visualization using tools such as Power BI, Qlik Sense, QlikView, Looker, and SQL.
  • Experience conducting interviews with business stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in data analysis and leading projects focused on business outcomes.
  • Knowledge of and hands-on experience with BigQuery.
  • Solid experience building dashboards and reports with Looker and/or Power BI.
  • Ability to work autonomously and take ownership, able to initiate projects from scratch and guide data strategy.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with different levels across the organization, from technical staff to executives.
  • Hands-on mindset with a strong sense of urgency and focus on execution and delivering value.
