Lawyer – Regulatory, Administrative Law

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct administrative and judicial proceedings with a focus on Regulatory and Administrative Law.
- Draft pleadings, defenses, appeals, submissions, legal opinions, and other procedural documents of medium to high complexity.
- Handle administrative proceedings before public agencies, autonomous government bodies, and regulatory authorities.
- Prepare filings, carry out diligences and follow-ups with public entities to advance cases and clarify issues.
- Attend hearings, present oral arguments, and participate in strategic meetings when required.
- Define and implement procedural strategies aligned with clients’ needs.
- Monitor and update internal case management systems and clients’ legal platforms.
- Maintain close relationships with clients by participating in meetings, alignments, and result presentations.
- Manage and prioritize workloads, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables meet quality standards.
- Prepare management and operational reports to track indicators and support decision-making.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Law degree and active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).
- Proven experience in Administrative Law and/or Regulatory Law.
- Experience handling administrative and judicial proceedings.
- Strong knowledge of Civil Procedure.
- Experience working with public agencies, autonomous entities and regulatory authorities, including preparing filings and conducting diligences.
- Knowledge of federal regulations and administrative procedures.
- Experience with internal and client case tracking systems.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace (Docs and Sheets).
- Strong communication, organizational and deadline-management skills, client relationship management, and meeting facilitation.
- Differentials:
- Postgraduate degree in Civil Procedure.
- Postgraduate degree in Administrative Law and/or Regulatory Law.
- Familiarity with public agencies’ and autonomous bodies’ systems (municipalities, PROCON, ANTT, AGU, among others).
- Previous experience in regulated sectors.
- Intermediate English.
