Key responsibilities & impact

Practice in LABOR/EMPLOYMENT law across all procedural phases;
Drafting defenses, appeals and other procedural documents inherent to litigation (such as Ordinary Appeal, Special Appeal (Recurso de Revista), objections to calculations, Opposition to Enforcement (Embargos à Execução), Interlocutory Appeal (Agravo de Petição), Writ of Mandamus (Mandado de Segurança), among others);
Monitoring case progress and entering information into internal/client systems;
Reviewing hearing schedules, conducting pre-hearing preparation meetings, requesting documents and supporting materials, requesting payments, and managing deadlines;
Representing clients at hearings and delivering oral arguments;
Ability to develop litigation strategies and analyze information and documents for case management;
Critical ability to review judgments and court decisions and draft appeals;
Mediation skills.

What you’ll need

Postgraduate degree in Labor/Employment Law preferred;
Required knowledge of Labor Law, Labor Procedure, and Civil Procedure;
Experience in both advisory (consultative) work and high-volume labor litigation.
