About the role
- Draft, review and negotiate all types of contracts directly, including commercial agreements, service agreements, technology contracts, licensing, assignments, confidentiality agreements, and others;
- Handle and execute complex legal matters in the Contracts and Intellectual Property practice;
- Supervise and monitor the legal team's activities, ensuring adherence to deadlines, technical standards and internal processes;
- Review team deliverables and provide technical support on more complex cases;
- Organize, control and oversee the management of contractual and IP documents;
- Serve as an interface with clients, partners and other firm departments;
- Support audit processes, information organization and due diligence;
- Contribute to continuous improvement and standardization of the area's workflows and routines.
Requirements
- Previous experience in Contracts and/or Intellectual Property, preferably in a law firm;
- Demonstrated experience in drafting, reviewing, negotiating and analyzing a variety of contracts, as well as handling complex legal matters;
- Experience supervising legal routines, coordinating activities or providing technical support to teams (the latter considered a differential);
- Experience in managing deadlines, quality control and standardization of documents;
- Law degree (LL.B. / J.D. equivalent);
- Active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB) — mandatory;
- Postgraduate degree in Contracts, Intellectual Property, Corporate Law or related areas — mandatory;
- Fluent English (reading, writing and professional communication);
- Spanish is desirable;
- Advanced Office suite skills, with emphasis on Word (contract formatting and review) and Excel (controls and reports);
- Familiarity with digital platforms and legal systems, such as case, contract and document management software;
- Experience with deadline management and legal workflow tools is a plus;
- Specialization or extension courses in Contracts, Intellectual Property or Compliance;
- Certifications or training in contract negotiation, contract management or legal operations;
- Ongoing updates in legislation and jurisprudence related to the practice areas;
- Organized, analytical and detail-oriented profile;
- Proactive, autonomous and with a strong sense of responsibility;
- Good communication skills, ability to provide technical guidance and work in a team;
- Ability to manage deadlines, multiple demands and work in dynamic environments.
