About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the development and execution of recruitment strategies, ensuring they align with the company's mission, goals, and culture.
  • Work with our external recruitment partners to build and nurture a robust network of high-caliber candidates, tapping into diverse pools of talent and maintaining an active pipeline for future hiring needs.
  • Manage the recruitment process, from job posting to interviewing, to offer acceptance, ensuring a seamless, candidate-friendly experience while balancing speed and quality.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers and external recruitment consultants to understand role requirements, provide strategic insights, and deliver top talent for critical positions.
  • Champion Ledgebrook’s employer brand by ensuring candidates understand our unique mission and the opportunity to be a part of the future of insurance.
  • Utilize analytics and data to assess, report and improve the effectiveness of recruitment strategies, continually optimizing for better results.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline recruitment processes, driving efficiency and improving overall candidate experience.
  • Help create a diverse and inclusive work environment by ensuring inclusive hiring practices and engaging diverse talent pools.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years of experience in full-cycle recruitment, including hiring senior roles across different geographic regions, preferably in a fast-paced or tech-driven industry.
  • Deep knowledge of talent acquisition best practices, sourcing techniques, and recruitment technologies.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously while maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Ability to think creatively and solve complex hiring challenges with innovative solutions.
  • Startup Experience: Experience working in a high-growth startup environment, navigating evolving recruitment needs as the business scales.
  • Familiarity with the insurance or InsurTech industry is a plus, but not a requirement.
  • Familiarity with recruitment software, applicant tracking systems, AI tools, and data-driven hiring practices.
  • Experience in promoting and implementing diversity and inclusion initiatives within the hiring process.
