Junior UI/UX Designer

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design UI components, screens & flows in Figma
- Translate wireframes and specs into high-fidelity mockups
- Collaborate closely with frontend engineers during handoff
- Conduct usability reviews with stakeholders/subject matter experts and iterate on feedback
- Keep work organized, versioned, and documented in shared libraries
- Interview users to understand how the design of the application can better fit their needs
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1-2 years of UI/UX design experience of a strong portfolio from coursework
- Proficiency in Figma
- Solid understanding of visual design fundamentals
- Familiarity with designing web applications for both desktop and mobile use
- Ability to communicate design decisions and rationale clearly
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS
- Prior experience in a startup environment
- Experience contributing to a design system or component library
- Authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization
