About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Operate the grader and other heavy equipment as needed
- Collaborate with crew members and operators to ensure smooth, efficient paving operations
- Uphold Ledcor’s Health & Safety programs and procedures
- Work on impactful highway construction and paving projects across Alberta
- Work field-based from May to November 2026
- Work 10–14 hour shift rotations, including nights and overtime
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of experience as a Grader Operator on highway construction projects
- Ability to operate other equipment such as rollers and pavers
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and performing physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract
- Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
- Flexibility to work on projects across Alberta; travel required
- Availability for 10–14 hour shifts, including nights and overtime
- Preference for candidates with an RV or trailer
