About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform preventive maintenance, fault repairs and corrective actions on elemental analysis instruments, metallographic equipment, thermal analysis instruments and GC-MS systems.
  • Install new equipment and perform upgrades on existing systems.
  • Provide training on theory, operation, software and maintenance best practices.
  • Provide technical support to customers and internal teams, including engineers and field technicians.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to components and instrumentation.
  • Prepare technical and expense reports using corporate tools.
  • Participate in trainings and certifications as required.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of products and services.
  • Carry out all tasks assigned by area leadership.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Technical or university degree in related fields (Engineering, Electronics, or similar).
  • Experience in maintenance and installation of analytical and industrial equipment for quality control and production laboratories.
  • Familiarity with instrument control software and technical reporting tools.
  • Ability to deliver training and interact with customers.
  • Availability for frequent travel throughout Brazil, by air or ground transportation.
  • Residence in the states of Rio de Janeiro (RJ), Minas Gerais (MG) or São Paulo (SP).
