About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage and retain a complex commercial lines book of business
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to Commercial Account Managers
- Review complex renewals and assist with challenging coverage and carrier issues
- Help improve workflows, efficiencies, and department processes
- Monitor service standards and quality expectations
- Partner with Producers to develop solutions for clients
- Assist leadership with workload balancing and department initiatives
- Support employee development through coaching and training
- Promote accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years of Commercial Lines insurance experience
- Extensive experience managing complex commercial accounts
- Active California Property & Casualty License
- Leadership, mentoring, or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong understanding of commercial coverages, carrier relationships, and marketing strategies
- Experience with AMS360 or similar agency management systems
- Professional designations such as CIC, CPCU, CRM, ARM, CRIS, or similar preferred
