About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Represent and promote the LEANTECHNIK brand and its product portfolio to our customers in postal code areas 6–9
  • Acquire new customers and strategically expand and maintain the existing customer base in the region
  • Provide technical advice and individualized support to our customers — from the initial inquiry through to the right solution
  • Assume revenue responsibility for new and existing customers and actively pursue sales targets
  • Support system/plant project planning from the concept phase to successful implementation at the customer site
  • Maintain structured documentation and reporting of sales activities in the ERP system
  • Represent LEANTECHNIK at national and international trade fairs and maintain direct on-site customer contact

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a comparable technical field, or alternatively a relevant technical apprenticeship with further training and relevant industry experience
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in technical sales in mechanical engineering, automation technology or comparable industrial sectors
  • Business-fluent German and English (at least C1), both written and spoken
  • Willingness to travel regularly within postal code areas 6–9 and occasionally nationally and internationally
  • Strong technical understanding combined with proven sales and closing skills and the ability to present complex issues in a customer-oriented and persuasive manner
  • Independent, structured working style with a strong results orientation and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Confident manner, negotiation skills and a pronounced customer focus
