About the role
- Architect, develop, and maintain high-performance middleware services and system integrations using Node.js and TypeScript
- Design and implement scalable RESTful APIs
- Lead the integration of complex enterprise data sources
- Drive architectural evolution by translating business requirements into scalable solutions
- Optimize, deploy, and manage applications in containerized environments using AWS ECS or Fargate
- Ensure system reliability and performance through comprehensive unit and integration testing
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional backend engineering experience
- Advanced proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
- Hands-on experience integrating SOAP/XML-based web services
- Proven experience designing, building, and securing scalable RESTful APIs
- Practical experience with containerization and cloud deployments, specifically AWS ECS or Fargate
- Proficiency in writing comprehensive unit and integration tests using frameworks such as Jest
- Solid understanding of CI/CD principles
