About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Seeking an individual to work in our Mental Health Skill-building (MHSS), Intensive In Home (IIH) program and/or Crisis Programs.
Maintaining a caseload of 4 clients from either program
Development and implementation of individualized service plans with on-going documentation of progress
Linking individuals to community resources as needed
Case coordination with agencies
Training individuals on daily living skills
Completing supervision with clinician as well as attending staff meetings and trainings.
Complete and submit daily progress notes.
Provide individual and family therapeutic sessions and interventions as outlined in the individualized service plan.
Provide on-call crisis intervention services to IIH clients as necessary.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other community agency professionals.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must have at least a bachelor’s degree in the human services field
At least one year of clinical experience working with children
Registered as QMHP or QMHP Trainee through the VA Board of Counseling
A minimum of one year working with adults/children with severe diagnosis
Possess a valid Virginia driver’s license
Successful CPS and Background check clearance
Verification of pre-employment physical with results from TB screening
Certification of CPR, First Aid, and agency approved behavior management techniques within the first month of employment and maintained thereafter.
