About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and maintain Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Flow
Collaborate with architects on solution design and implementation approaches
Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives
Write clean, well-documented, testable code that follows team standards
Partner with QA to ensure high-quality deliverables
Contribute to code reviews with constructive, supportive feedback
Help translate public health requirements into technical solutions
Support the development of our PH360 platform

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience
1-3 years of work experience in governmental public health (local, state, federal, tribal, or non-profit)
Salesforce Platform Developer I certification required
Strong proficiency in Apex, SOQL, and Lightning Web Components
Experience with Salesforce Flow and declarative automation tools
Understanding of Salesforce data modeling and security model
Familiarity with integration patterns and REST/SOAP APIs
Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD practices
Knowledge of testing frameworks and test-driven development
Salesforce Platform Developer II certification preferred
Experience with Service Cloud or Health Cloud preferred
Familiarity with HIPAA compliance requirements preferred
Background in public health data systems or epidemiology workflows preferred
