About the role

  • Support and maintenance of a stable Microsoft Dynamics AX environment with focus on enhancements
  • Daily AX Health Checkup and Daily Billing Monitoring
  • DNA Code updates and AR Detailed Aging Report development
  • Finance and LIS Aging Report development and EOM support
  • Daily operations support for user issues and change requests for OG and PR processes
  • Develop customizations: Product Xref change, Org ID based Org Name update, PAG Name/PAG Group update (CSV), Item Sales Tax update against Territory
  • Implement security role updates (system admin read-only, single-field editable, AR read-only role creation)
  • Act as solution provider on PROD environment issues and participate in AX deployments and stabilization
  • Involvement in upgrade from older AX2012 versions to AX2012 R3 and post-upgrade stabilization and code changes
  • Participate in Rax Space to Azure migration, cloud servers configuration and stabilization across environments
  • Implement GL Map functionality, account reconciliation processes, duplicate PDF generation, Blackline journal creation
  • Implement Blackline outbound and inbound SFTP functionality
  • Develop AX batch job error reports, Data Lake basic functionality, and SFTP upload/copy/move functionality changes
  • Collaborate with other application teams for integrations and troubleshoot file-based and service call integrations

Requirements

  • Expertise in Microsoft Dynamics AX (X++)
  • Strong experience working with AR module; Finance involvement by default
  • Experience supporting and maintaining AX 2012 environments (AX2012 R3 familiarity) and stabilizing post-upgrade systems
  • Familiarity with SQL Server 2016 (on-prem)
  • Experience with SSRS reports, classes, tables, forms, workflows, integrations, and performance optimization
  • Experience with integrations (file-based integrations and service call integrations) including Salesforce, homegrown systems, and fulfillment systems
  • Experience troubleshooting production issues originating from integrated applications
  • Experience with SFTP (Blackline outbound/inbound SFTP), Data Lake basic functionality, batch jobs, GL map and account reconciliation processes
  • Familiarity with cloud server configuration/stabilization and Rax Space to Azure migration involvement
  • Experience implementing change requests, customizations (Product Xref, Org ID/Org Name updates, PAG updates, Item Sales Tax updates), security role updates, and EOM support
  • Comfortable working in a small team with architects, offshore operational support, and QA
  • Ability to work remotely on a contract basis
