About the role

  • Monitoring and handling central intake channels (ServiceNow ticketing system and shared mailboxes from the IT security area)
  • Initial screening and handling of security-related service requests — especially reported suspicious emails and phishing notifications
  • Reviewing reported emails according to defined rules and runbooks, including providing feedback to the reporters or forwarding to IT security specialists
  • Handling and routing requests from various IT security areas (e.g., general security inquiries, processes, reporting)
  • Following up on open tickets and emails, maintaining status information, and tracking response and feedback times
  • Gradual takeover of recurring tasks with the goal of standardizing or automating them over time

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science, Business Informatics, IT Security, or a related field
  • Interest in IT security and operational security processes
  • Careful, structured working style and enjoyment of clear procedures
  • Good written and spoken German and English
