About the role
- Monitoring and handling central intake channels (ServiceNow ticketing system and shared mailboxes from the IT security area)
- Initial screening and handling of security-related service requests — especially reported suspicious emails and phishing notifications
- Reviewing reported emails according to defined rules and runbooks, including providing feedback to the reporters or forwarding to IT security specialists
- Handling and routing requests from various IT security areas (e.g., general security inquiries, processes, reporting)
- Following up on open tickets and emails, maintaining status information, and tracking response and feedback times
- Gradual takeover of recurring tasks with the goal of standardizing or automating them over time
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science, Business Informatics, IT Security, or a related field
- Interest in IT security and operational security processes
- Careful, structured working style and enjoyment of clear procedures
- Good written and spoken German and English
