About the role

  • Active management and expansion of existing institutional client relationships (e.g., insurance companies, funds, central banks, asset managers)
  • Acquisition of new business partners in the area of secured financing (repo, secured lending; derivatives and note formats)
  • Structuring and execution of bilateral secured financing transactions (e.g., tri-party repo transactions as well as securities lending and collateral optimization strategies; total return swaps and structured notes)
  • Collaboration with internal teams and interfaces (Trading, Treasury, Operations, Risk, Legal)
  • Monitoring market movements, spreads and regulatory developments (SFTR, Basel III, ESG integration, etc.)
  • Preparation of proposals, pricing and market analyses to support trading decisions
  • Participation in client meetings, trade fairs and industry events

Requirements

  • University degree in business, finance, economics or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience with capital markets products, preferably in secured financing
  • Strong and broad understanding of capital market instruments for refinancing as well as balance sheet and liquidity management, and the associated regulatory requirements
  • Excellent communication skills, negotiation ability and the capacity to present complex matters clearly
  • High level of initiative, team spirit, flexibility and commitment in a dynamic, international environment
  • Very good written and spoken English; additional languages are an advantage
