About the role
- Lead the team both functionally and disciplinarily; identify potential and develop strengths
- Ensure thorough commercial risk analyses of complex, cashflow-based financings using business-specific structuring and analysis tools
- Evaluate extensive transaction documentation and understand risk- and transaction-focused credit documentation, often in English
- Promote, motivate and develop the group in line with division, department and bank strategy; plan and optimize front-to-back processes
- Monitor implementation of decisions in active risk management; identify required actions and initiate measures to mitigate risks; contribute ideas early in deal structuring
- Take responsibility for the material and systematic market and risk assessment of the portfolio in cooperation with the relevant market unit
- Advise on structurally complex financings, handle special topics and, as needed, represent the department head in core responsibilities
Requirements
- Degree in economics/business administration or comparable qualification
- Several years of management experience and/or demonstrated leadership capability
- Several years of experience and extensive expertise in lending to complex corporate clients and/or financing companies
- Experience in project management
- Structured, independent and solution-oriented working style
- High level of commitment, persuasiveness and decisiveness
- Ability and motivation to develop staff and inspire them to achieve goals
- Enjoyment of dynamic environments with client-driven deadlines
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage in constructive debate
- Excellent German and English language skills, written and spoken
