About the role
- Support in originating and executing national and international M&A transactions, including sell-side and buy-side mandates, public takeover bids and fairness opinions
- Participation in company valuations based on multiples and DCF analyses, and in developing transaction and financing structures
- Ownership of substantial modules in the preparation of project and marketing materials, such as teasers, information memoranda and management presentations
- Preparation and follow-up of client meetings and pitches, as well as project-related research on company, sector and market information
- Collaboration with international teams of our network partners, such as Natixis and Geneva Capital, on exciting cross-border transactions
- Coordination with other product and advisory units within the integrated Corporate Finance approach, in particular with the Corporate Finance division, LBBW and the M&A unit in Singapore
Requirements
- Degree in economics, business administration or a comparable international qualification with an above-average academic record, ideally focused on M&A/Corporate Finance, Finance, Accounting or Law
- At least 2–3 years of practical experience in M&A/Corporate Finance, gained through internships or roles at M&A boutiques, consulting firms, audit firms, banks or in industry
- Strong analytical skills and advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
- Independent and responsible working style, high motivation, resilience, confident demeanor and strong presentation skills
- Ability to develop innovative and creative, sustainable client solutions
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
- Team-oriented approach and strong interpersonal skills for positive collaboration
