Field Service Technician – Remote, with Travel
LayerZero Power SystemsField Service Technician providing hands-on service and technical support for power systems. Ensuring reliability and performance through customer interactions both onsite and remotely.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform startup, commissioning, service, and preventive maintenance on LayerZero equipment, including: Static transfer switches, Power distribution units, Remote power panels
- Provide technical support to customers on-site and remotely via phone and email
- Maintain accurate and timely service records in the LayerZero system
- Respond to emergency service calls, including participation in the 24/7 support rotation
- Travel to customer sites across the U.S. and Canada as required
- Occasional weekend or holiday work may be necessary
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience servicing electrical power systems- required
- Strong electrical and electronic troubleshooting skills- required
- Ability to read and interpret diagrams and schematics- required
- Familiarity with PC-based programming of printed circuit boards- required
- Knowledge of electrical PPE and safety protocols- required
