About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead inbound consultations across tax returns, BAS lodgements, bookkeeping, and ongoing accounting advice
  • Deliver proactive, clear advice that helps SMB clients understand their position and the value of getting it sorted
  • Translate technical accounting concepts into plain language clients can act on
  • Convert warm inbound leads into Lawpath Tax & Advisory clients through consultative selling
  • Manage a variety of leads across new business, win-back, and upsell opportunities
  • Hit monthly and quarterly targets and earn uncapped commission for doing so
  • Match client needs to the right Lawpath services and help them understand the value of acting now
  • Keep Salesforce accurate and up-to-date so the team has clean pipeline visibility
  • Hit daily activity KPIs and contribute to weekly team reporting
  • Spot opportunities to improve our service and flag them to the team
  • Collaborate with our legal, product, and sales teams to deliver a seamless client experience
  • Share insights from client conversations that shape how we package and price our services

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Accounting knowledge - solid understanding of tax returns, BAS, bookkeeping, and general accounting principles
  • Hands-on experience with Xero and BAS processes
  • Strong phone-based communication skills (this is primarily a phone role)
  • A track record of hitting individual revenue or sales targets (B2B preferred)
  • Confidence in translating technical accounting into client-friendly language
  • Comfortable learning new systems quickly
