About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead high-impact family law cases from intake to final decree
- Drive contested divorces, complex SAPCR cases, and protective orders
- Represent clients in Harris County and surrounding courts
- Conduct depositions, mediations, and First-Chair trials
- Apply deep knowledge of the Texas Family Code
- Help clients navigate difficult circumstances with results-driven, compassionate representation
- Work with the firm's marketing and administrative support engine without hunting for leads or chasing invoices
- Report to Kimberly Washington
Requirements
What you’ll need- Valid Texas bar license for a minimum of 2 years
- At least 2 years of dedicated Texas Family Law litigation
- Fearless presence in the courtroom
- Ability to manage a high-impact docket under pressure
- Highly organized advocate experienced in family law hearings and estate / guardianship proceedings
- Experience from initial consults through drafting pleadings and discovery
- Proficient in Clio, TxDoc, Google Suite, and modern e-filing systems
