About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage the full lifecycle of family law and EPG (Estate Planning/Guardianship) matters from inception through resolution.
- Craft substantive pleadings, motions, and complex discovery responses with a high degree of technical accuracy.
- Lead the discovery and inventory process, including tracing separate property funds and identifying "red flags" in complex financial affidavits or business valuations.
- Partner with attorneys to curate trial exhibits, organize trial notebooks, and manage ongoing RFOs (Requests for Order).
- Oversee court filings, maintain rigorous calendaring for hearings and deadlines, and ensure billable hours are captured accurately.
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 2+ years of dedicated Texas Family Law experience as a paralegal.
- Proficiency in E-Filing across various state court portals and staying current with local rules.
- Fluent in Clio/MyCase, Google Suite, and modern document management systems.
- A professional who understands the line between legal information and legal advice and remains calm under the pressure of emotionally charged litigation.
- A self-starter capable of providing mentorship and contributing to a collaborative team culture.
