About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct investment due diligence and market research
  • Create and deliver investment committee presentations
  • Prepare financial reports for senior management, partners, investors, and rating agencies including S&P and Moody’s
  • Manage assets and loan payoffs
  • Perform Excel-based underwriting pro formas, cash flow projections, and sensitivity analyses
  • Analyze quarterly financial statements, rent rolls, current and future cash flow, and forecast cash flows through Argus
  • Review and analyze potential leases and their financial impact on investments
  • Provide analytical support for fund operations
  • Gather and evaluate economic and market data
  • Assist with client reporting and presentation preparation
  • Present investment memoranda to the firm’s Investment Committee
  • Assist with loan closings and asset management of commercial real estate bridge loans

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BA/BS degree in real estate, finance, accounting, economics, or a related field, with a strong record of academic achievement
  • Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in transactions, commercial real estate finance, lending, private credit, investment management, or a related field
  • Ability to work with individuals at all levels within the firm and leading real estate owners throughout the country
  • Ability to attend investment committee presentations and travel to client meetings, conferences, and property tours throughout the United States
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Exceptional analytical and communication skills
  • Leadership traits, diligence, and ability to function efficiently under significant deadline pressure
  • Strong financial and analytical ability
  • Solid organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proactive thinking with a detail-oriented and creative problem-solving approach
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
