About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct investment due diligence and market research
Create and deliver investment committee presentations
Prepare financial reports for senior management, partners, investors, and rating agencies including S&P and Moody’s
Manage assets and loan payoffs
Perform Excel-based underwriting pro formas, cash flow projections, and sensitivity analyses
Analyze quarterly financial statements, rent rolls, current and future cash flow, and forecast cash flows through Argus
Review and analyze potential leases and their financial impact on investments
Provide analytical support for fund operations
Gather and evaluate economic and market data
Assist with client reporting and presentation preparation
Present investment memoranda to the firm’s Investment Committee
Assist with loan closings and asset management of commercial real estate bridge loans

Requirements

What you’ll need

BA/BS degree in real estate, finance, accounting, economics, or a related field, with a strong record of academic achievement
Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in transactions, commercial real estate finance, lending, private credit, investment management, or a related field
Ability to work with individuals at all levels within the firm and leading real estate owners throughout the country
Ability to attend investment committee presentations and travel to client meetings, conferences, and property tours throughout the United States
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Exceptional analytical and communication skills
Leadership traits, diligence, and ability to function efficiently under significant deadline pressure
Strong financial and analytical ability
Solid organizational skills and ability to multitask
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proactive thinking with a detail-oriented and creative problem-solving approach
Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
