About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and clinical interviews to understand clients' mental health needs
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, or other appropriate approaches
Provide ongoing psychotherapy sessions, monitoring client progress and adjusting treatment strategies as necessary
Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards
Collaborate with healthcare providers, social workers, and other professionals to coordinate holistic care and support for clients
Stay current with developments in psychotherapy techniques and mental health research to enhance clinical practice
Participate in supervision, training, and professional development activities to maintain licensure and improve therapeutic skills.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related mental health field
Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or equivalent
Demonstrated experience providing psychotherapy to individuals, families, or groups
Strong knowledge of ethical standards and confidentiality requirements in mental health practice
Ability to work independently and manage a diverse caseload effectively
Preferred: Experience working with specific populations such as children, adolescents, veterans, or individuals with substance use disorders
Preferred: Training or certification in specialized therapeutic approaches (e.g., EMDR, DBT, trauma-informed care)
Preferred: Bilingual abilities or experience working with multicultural populations
Preferred: Familiarity with telehealth platforms and delivering remote therapy services
Preferred: Additional certifications or continuing education in mental health specialties.
