About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Teach engaging one-on-one online lessons using Microsoft Teams.
- Create a supportive and personalized learning environment that promotes student engagement, confidence, and success.
- Assign and provide timely feedback on class performance, homework assignments, and projects.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate grades and academic records.
- Communicate professionally and proactively with students, families, and LanguageBird staff as needed.
- Demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and respect in all interactions.
- Participate in required training.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1–2+ years of experience teaching Italian (online and/or in a school setting).
- Native-like proficiency in Italian.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Experience working with middle school and/or high school students preferred.
- Familiarity with educational technology and Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting deadlines and expectations.
- Evening availability in U.S. time zones (PST preferred).
