About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assist with the planning and execution of field investigations
Observe foundation and earthwork construction activities
Identify and implement solutions to both routine and complex problems
Prepare standard logs and field forms
Review Foundation, Structural, and Support of Excavation drawings
Perform 2D and 3D finite element analyses
Evaluate structural deformations
Prepare data plots for presentations and reports
Document and communicate problems encountered on project sites

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required
Master’s degree with Geotechnical specialty preferred
Entry to 3 years of work-related experience
Minimum GPA of 3.5
EIT Certification or current registration for FE exam
Experience with Plaxis and DeepEx preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical, multitasking, and judgment capabilities
Willingness to spend the majority of work hours in the field
Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment
Possess a valid driver’s license in good standing
