About the role
- Responsibility for and assurance of continuous equipment availability through proper maintenance and repair across the entire production site, including building services
- Development, implementation and control of a preventive and sustainable maintenance program
- Responsibility for smooth cooperation with external service providers in the area of plant/operational engineering
- Further development and improvement of the operational technical software
- Preparation and adherence to the annual budget in close coordination with management
- Ensuring and responsibility for procurement, availability and inventory management of spare parts, with a focus on cost-effectiveness
- Participation in technical and production meetings
- Support in energy management
- Development and implementation of technical process optimizations
- Ensuring and monitoring food-law-compliant production in accordance with hygiene guidelines and contributing to continuous improvement
Requirements
- Completed vocational training in electronics, mechanics, mechatronics or equivalent — preference for a specialization in electronics
- Further qualification as a Meister or Techniker, alternatively a completed degree in a technical field — specialization in electronics
- Knowledge in energy management
- Professional experience in a manufacturing company — ideally in the food industry
- Leadership experience
- Comprehensive process understanding
- Proficient with MS Office; experience optimizing existing technical software
- Strong communication, assertiveness and teamwork skills
- High sense of responsibility, quality, hygiene and cost awareness
- Reliability and flexibility
- Practical/manual skills and willingness to work hands-on when required
