About the role
- Manage accounting and reporting for $1.5B+ in fixed assets including GPU infrastructure, racks, cabling, and related equipment.
- Oversee asset capitalization, classification, and useful life determinations in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
- Ensure accurate depreciation calculations and reconciliation of the fixed asset subledger to the general ledger.
- Oversee accounting for $200M+ in CIP related to GPU infrastructure deployments and data center buildouts.
- Manage accounting and reporting for $500M+ in Right-of-Use (ROU) assets related to data center leases.
- Prepare fixed asset and lease accounting schedules for monthly, quarterly, and annual close.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 7+ years of accounting experience with significant exposure to fixed asset and lease accounting
- Experience managing large-scale fixed asset and lease portfolios ($2B+ preferred)
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP fixed asset accounting and ASC 842 lease accounting
- Experience managing Construction in Progress (CIP) and capital project accounting
- Proficiency with ERP systems and fixed asset management modules
- Strong analytical, organizational, and process improvement skills.
