About the role
- Identify, build, and maintain successful long-term professional relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs), clinical investigators, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and academic center(s) research personnel
- Support and enhance new and existing partnerships including clinical trials, investigator-initiated studies, and scientific collaborations
- Conduct balanced, scientifically rigorous, and compliant exchanges with HCPs and KOLs to advance understanding of Kyverna’s clinical programs and therapeutic platforms
- Collaborate with clinical trial sites to understand barriers to patient identification, enrollment, and screening, and facilitate solutions to optimize study execution
- Gather, analyze, and report field insights including protocol feedback, emerging treatment trends, and competitive intelligence to inform Medical Affairs strategy
- Represent Kyverna at scientific meetings, conferences, and advisory boards
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the disease area, investigational assets, and relevant clinical data
- Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
- Ability to travel frequently (potentially up to 50% of the time) and with short or minimal notice including weekends and evening hours
Requirements
- 10+ years of MSL or equivalent field-based medical experience in Europe
- Advanced scientific or medical degree required (PhD, PharmD, MD, or equivalent)
- Must have experience in cellular therapy and/or autoimmune disease; experience in Myasthenia Gravis or Neuromuscular disorders strongly preferred
- Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to convey complex scientific information effectively
- Self-starter with demonstrated skill in independently managing multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal guidance and oversight
- Fluency in English required; proficiency in German strongly preferred
- Strong team player who can work well with cross-functional team members to achieve corporate and department objectives
