About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Monitor security alerts and event data from security platforms to identify potential threats
Investigate, triage, and respond to security incidents following defined runbooks and escalation paths
Perform initial analysis to determine incident scope, impact, and urgency
Execute containment actions such as isolating systems or blocking access under approved procedures
Maintain accurate incident records, timelines, and evidence for reporting and reviews
Support vulnerability management activities, including validation and tracking remediation actions
Improve security operations processes, playbooks, and controls
Collaborate with internal teams and customers during incident response and post-incident reviews

Requirements

What you’ll need

Hands on experience in security operations, incident response, or a security operations center environment
Practical knowledge of monitoring and alerting tools such as SIEM, EDR, or network security platforms
Experience analyzing security events, logs, and alerts to identify threats and false positives
Understanding of common attack techniques, vulnerabilities, and threat categories
Ability to follow documented procedures, escalation paths, and evidence handling requirements
Experience documenting incidents, actions taken, and outcomes in a structured manner
Familiarity with basic networking, operating systems, and identity concepts
