About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build, maintain, and enhance the Azure API Management (APIM)-based Internal API Platform
Design and develop the Enterprise Context Gateway for secure, governed integration of AI agents and enterprise services
Develop and improve Infrastructure as Code solutions and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
Ensure platform security, reliability, scalability, resilience, and high availability
Enable access to enterprise data, tools, and MCP services for the bank’s transition to an AI-native architecture
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and cross-functional teams to improve the integration ecosystem
Create and maintain developer self-service tools
Implement automated and compliant deployment processes aligned with enterprise standards
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize platform performance and operational stability
Participate in a 24/7 on-call/standby rotation

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven experience setting up, managing, and optimizing Microsoft Azure infrastructure
Hands-on experience managing CI/CD pipelines
Infrastructure as Code experience using ARM templates and Bicep within Azure DevOps
Strong understanding of security-by-design principles
Secure API development practices
Cloud compliance requirements knowledge
Experience integrating and consuming RESTful APIs
Willingness to participate in 24/7 standby/on-call support duties
Ability to work fluently and effectively within an English-speaking team environment
8 to 20 years of relevant experience
Experience enabling and implementing Agentic AI solutions using protocols such as Model Context Protocol (MCP) preferred
