About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, implement, and maintain DevOps pipelines, automation frameworks, and infrastructure-as-code solutions
  • Manage and optimize Git source control and branching strategies
  • Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, inventories, and automation workflows
  • Build and manage Terraform modules for cloud and infrastructure resources
  • Integrate systems and tools using REST APIs, scripting, and automation
  • Support and enhance cloud-based infrastructure across Azure, AWS, or GCP
  • Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and security teams on CI/CD, automated deployments, and environment standardization
  • Ensure platform reliability, scalability, performance, and security
  • Troubleshoot build and deployment pipelines, infrastructure provisioning, configuration drift, and cloud service issues
  • Drive DevOps maturity, standardization, and continuous improvement
  • Create technical documentation, SOPs, architecture diagrams, and knowledge-transfer materials
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to engineers and operational teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong hands-on experience with Git, including branching, merging, pull requests, repositories, and version-control best practices
  • Extensive experience with Ansible for configuration management, application deployment, and orchestration
  • Strong experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and state management
  • Hands-on experience with REST APIs, API integrations, and API-call automation
  • Experience with at least one major cloud platform: Azure, AWS, or GCP
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or GitLab CI
  • Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
  • Experience with infrastructure automation, environment provisioning, and release automation
  • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift preferred
  • Knowledge of Linux/Windows administration, networking basics, and security best practices
  • Understanding of monitoring, logging, and alerting tools is an advantage
  • Ability to analyze operational challenges and design automation-based solutions
  • Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills
  • Experience working in enterprise-scale production environments
  • Understanding of change, incident, and release management processes
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
  • 8+ years of overall IT experience with significant hands-on experience in DevOps, cloud, and automation
  • Relevant certifications are a plus, including Azure DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Terraform Associate, Red Hat Ansible Automation, or Kubernetes certifications
