About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Solve complex problems and identify potential future issues across platforms

- Create predictable outcomes by turning project execution into controlled procedures
- Identify and utilize new technological assets and solutions for innovation
- Mentor people and support ongoing training programs
Requirements
What you’ll need- 9+ years of relevant experience in Mainframe zOS Platform support
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
- Act as support and domain expert for z/OS operating system and system components
- License management for ISV products and Patch management for zOS
- Experience with ISV product upgrades including diagnosing z/OS platform issues
- Knowledge on SMP/E
- Troubleshooting Infrastructure and Application issues related to ZOS
- Implementing and enforcing security policies on the z/OS system
