About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage, maintain, and optimize IBM mainframe environments
Ensure system stability, performance, and availability
Work with RACF security administration
Install, configure, and maintain IBM z/OS
Troubleshoot issues
Apply SMP/E maintenance
Customize system libraries
Monitor and tune performance
Diagnose abends and conduct root cause analyses
Provide Level‑2/3 production support
Coordinate with subsystem teams
Participate in z/OS upgrades, migrations
Support Disaster Recovery planning and testing
Enforce security standards and access controls

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum 9+ years of experience in z/OS System Administration environment
Act as support and domain expert for z/OS operating system and system components
Provide direct technical support as needed
Analyze performance issues while providing technical consultation
Support for new product installation and evaluation as needed
Excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills
