About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manages Liberty runtime configuration and tuning
- Handles JVM settings, certs, keystore/truststore, and security configs
- Supports OAuth/SSO and application runtime hardening
- Provides L2/L3 support for business-critical applications hosted on WebSphere and Liberty
- Troubleshoots application, middleware, and infrastructure-related issues using logs, thread dumps, heap dumps, and diagnostic tools
- Monitors application server health, performance, and capacity utilization
- Supports migration initiatives from Traditional WebSphere Application Server to WebSphere Liberty
- Develops automation scripts using Shell, Python, or Ansible
- Configures SSL certificates, LDAP integration, authentication mechanisms, and access controls
