About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develops, implements and maintains one or more accounting systems: Journal entries, General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, Revenue Reconciliation, etc.
Reviews and interprets financial reporting requirements, rules and regulations.
Balances books and prepares profit and loss, cash flow, income and balance sheet statements.
Monitors and develops monthly reports of revenues and expenditures for projects.
Provides a record of assets, liabilities and other financial transactions.

Requirements

What you’ll need

University degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (local accounting certification is a strong advantage)
Solid experience in statutory accounting and local bookkeeping
Strong knowledge of local GAAP, tax requirements, and statutory compliance obligations
Experience working with monthly accounting cycles and local ledger maintenance
Ability to understand and reconcile differences between local GAAP and US GAAP
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experienced with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
High attention to detail and ability to work with tight deadlines and regulatory timelines
Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to coordinate confidently with both local and global stakeholders
Fluency in English required.
