About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, develop, and maintain SSIS packages for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL)
  • Build scalable data integration workflows across multiple sources (SQL Server, Oracle, flat files, APIs, etc.)
  • Implement complex transformations, data cleansing, and business rules
  • Develop reusable SSIS components and frameworks
  • Write optimized T-SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions
  • Design and support data warehouse and dimensional models (Star/Snowflake schemas)
  • Deploy, configure, and manage SSIS packages using SSIS Catalog (SSISDB)
  • Monitor package execution and troubleshoot failures
  • Manage SQL Server Agent jobs and scheduling
  • Tune SSIS packages for performance (parallelism, memory, buffering)
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across systems
  • Provide L2/L3 production support for ETL processes
  • Maintain documentation for ETL processes and pipelines

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 6–10+ years of experience in SSIS development and administration
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server (2012/2016/2019/2022)
  • Proficiency in SSIS, SSMS, SQL Server Agent
  • Advanced T-SQL programming skills
  • Experience with Data Warehousing concepts (ETL, OLAP, dimensional modeling)
  • Hands-on with SSIS performance tuning and troubleshooting
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT or related field
  • Microsoft certifications (preferred): Azure Data Engineer / SQL Server certifications
