About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide work estimates for assigned development work
- Guide features, functional objectives, or technologies being built for interested parties
- Manage and support middleware technologies such as WebLogic, WebSphere, Tomcat, IIS, API Gateway, and integration platforms
- Perform installation, patching, upgrades, and version lifecycle management (EOS/EOL tracking)
- Troubleshoot application and integration issues across middleware layers
- Design and support high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) setups
- Support application integrations using APIs, web services, and messaging queues
- Monitor system health using enterprise tools such as Dynatrace and App Insights
- Ensure middleware security through SSL, IAM integration, and patch compliance
- Collaborate with DevSecOps teams using CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub, and Maven
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8–10 years of experience in Middleware Administration / Support
- Strong experience in middleware platforms: Oracle WebLogic / IBM WebSphere / Apache Tomcat / IIS
- Understanding of application architecture, integration patterns, and networking (ports, load balancers, DNS, firewall rules)
- Experience in Linux/Windows administration
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure / AWS preferred)
- Experience with monitoring tools and scripting (Shell / PowerShell)
