Key responsibilities & impact

act as the trusted advisor who turns business goals into cloud architecture
work closely with client executives, enterprise architects, security and compliance teams
run discovery and assessment workshops
build the business case and total cost of ownership
translate requirements into well-architected solutions on AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud
mentor other architects and consultants
build reference architectures and reusable accelerators
help set Kyndryl apart through newer capabilities such as agentic AI and automation

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years designing and delivering enterprise IT solutions
at least 4+ years focused on public cloud architecture
hands-on solutions architecture experience on at least one major hyperscaler (Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud)
multi-cloud experience strongly preferred
track record leading cloud migration and modernization programs
strong command of core cloud domains: compute, storage, networking (VPC/VNet, hybrid connectivity, DNS, load balancing), identity and access management, and cloud security and governance
solid grasp of cloud-native and modernization patterns: containers and Kubernetes (EKS/AKS/GKE), microservices, serverless, and application refactoring
hands-on experience designing and delivering AI solutions on cloud
experience applying AI to the delivery itself
infrastructure as code and automation experience (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep, Ansible)
practical understanding of security by design, cloud cost optimization (FinOps)
proven consulting skills: running client workshops, presenting to and influencing senior stakeholders
At least one current associate- or professional-level cloud certification
