Key responsibilities & impact

Analyze functional and technical requirements to support core banking applications
Develop and maintain COBOL programs in batch and online mainframe environments
Manage and support data processing using DB2 and VSAM files
Optimize high-volume transactional processes to ensure performance and stability
Provide production support, monitoring, and technical documentation for critical systems

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of experience developing or supporting applications in mainframe environments
Hands-on experience with COBOL and JCL
Experience working with CICS in online transaction processing environments
Knowledge of DB2 and VSAM for data management
Familiarity with mainframe operational processes and production support
Experience with Git or version control tools, including integrations with modern pipelines
