About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Operate and monitor automated workflows (jobs/chains) in Control‑M
Monitor the health of transactional systems and availability dashboards
Log, classify, prioritize, and follow up on tickets in the corporate ITSM tool
Administer and validate backups and restorations using designated platforms
Support release and maintenance windows
Collaborate with multidisciplinary resolver teams to ensure definitive resolution
Identify error patterns and opportunities for automation or standardization

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree or Engineering degree in Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields
3+ years of experience in operations and monitoring of critical systems (on-premises or hybrid)
Operation of Control-M (BMC) for jobs and chains (Java and SAP)
Familiarity with Salesforce, Tandem, and OmniPayment (or equivalent platforms)
Experience with CommVault Simpana and Veeam Backup & Replication
Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix
Familiarity with ticket management systems like ServiceNow
Retail experience / El Palacio de Hierro exposure is preferred
