About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage role and access in identity systems like Entra ID and AWS IAM
- Implement and manage cloud resources (IaaS, PaaS, CaaS, Serverless)
- Monitor and maintain cloud resources for optimal performance
- Configure and administer networking components and security protocols
- Perform cost management and optimization practices
- Document processes and maintain service reports
- Collaborate with vendor support for resource management
- Execute production deployments and troubleshoot issues in cloud environments
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3-6 years of experience in role and access management in identity systems such as Entra ID (Azure) and/or AWS IAM
- Organizational structures such as Management Groups and Subscriptions (Azure) / Organizational Units and Accounts (AWS)
- Implementation and management of resources (IaaS, PaaS, CaaS, Serverless)
- Maintenance and monitoring of resources (IaaS, PaaS, CaaS, Serverless)
- Resource auto-scaling
- Resource backup management
- High availability implementation
- Configuration and administration of networking, routing, dedicated links, load balancers, DNS, route tables, private connectivity, and hub-and-spoke architectures
- Storage and data configuration and administration
- Security in Public / Private / Hybrid Cloud environments
- Scripting, automation, and infrastructure as code for provisioning, deployment, and infrastructure updates (Python, Ansible, Terraform, Git, GitHub Actions)
- Cost management, optimization, efficiency, and FinOps practices
- Handling requests, support, and incidents (IaaS, PaaS, CaaS, Serverless)
- Coordination with vendor support for cloud service and resource management
- Execution of production deployments manually and via pipelines
- Documentation and service reporting
- Azure / AWS Administrator
- Provisioning, configuration, and troubleshooting of IaaS, PaaS, CaaS, Serverless, and SaaS resources
- Troubleshooting of Serverless and SaaS resources
- Azure/AWS Kubernetes Services: provisioning, configuration, and knowledge of Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Azure Kubernetes Services
- Network components configuration: Elastic Load Balancing, Azure Load Balancer, Azure Application Gateway, Route 53, Azure DNS, Azure Traffic Manager, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, Route Tables, Private Links, CloudFront, Azure Front Door, Virtual WAN
- Cloud component upgrades
- Certificate and Service Principal management
- Platform troubleshooting
- Identity and access management across IAM, Organizations, Accounts, Control Tower, and SSO
- Operating Systems (intermediate): Windows, Linux
- Scripting (intermediate): Bash, PowerShell
- Networking (intermediate): Routing, MPLS, VPN, Cloud Connect, Transit Gateway, Subnetting, CIDR, VPC, CDN, DNS, Proxies, NAT, VRF
- Programming Languages (intermediate): Python, Java, Go, JavaScript
- DevSecOps (intermediate): Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, Vault, Git, GitHub Actions, HashiCorp Vault
- Applications (intermediate): Web servers, integration bus, API Gateway, databases, caching systems, CDN
