About the role
- Specialized in managing physical, virtual, and cloud-based backup infrastructures in Distributed environments
- Installing and maintaining backup software and hardware
- Configuring and optimizing backup policies
- Monitoring job performance
- Troubleshooting failures
- Performing restorations
- Ensuring alignment with retention and security standards
- Collaborating with vendors and IT teams to guarantee seamless integration and high availability of backup services
Requirements
- Administration of backup infrastructures in Commvault, Veeam and Storage Protect
- Assist clients defining architectures by selecting, implementing, and supporting new infrastructures
- Development in scripting and automation
- Manage ATLs and VTLs
- Maintenance, configuration, tuning and update of backup infrastructures
- Monitoring of backup infrastructures (availability; capacity; forecast)
- Maintenance of subsystems compliance based on Kyndryl security policies
- Response to incidents and service requests directed at a ticketing tool provided by Kyndryl
- Provide a 24x7 prevention service according to a scale with possible travel needs to the data center
- Fluent in write and speak English and Portuguese languages
