About the role
- Design, implement, and optimise advanced data and AI solutions on AWS to support analytics, machine learning, and generative AI use cases
- Develop end-to-end pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and model deployment
- Work with AWS services such as SageMaker, Bedrock, OpenSearch, Glue, Redshift, Lake Formation, and S3 to build production-grade solutions
- Guide architectural decisions for AI-driven applications and enterprise platforms
- Lead workshops and consulting engagements to help customers forge data-driven strategies
- Educate customers about the latest Data Science technologies and frameworks
- Deliver strategies, assessments, recommendations, and comprehensive plans addressing technical and functional requirements
- Analyze customer business issues, formulate hypotheses, and test conclusions to deliver data solutions
- Collaborate with Kyndryl Consultants, Architects, Project Managers, and Technical Subject Matter Experts
Requirements
- 15 years of experience in total
- 5+ years of relevant experience in AWS Data and AI
- Proven experience designing and implementing AI and analytics solutions using AWS-native services such as Amazon SageMaker, Amazon Bedrock, Amazon OpenSearch, AWS Glue, Amazon Redshift, AWS Lake Formation, and Amazon S3
- Expertise in developing end-to-end data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and model deployment using AWS services
- Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT concepts, complex stored procedures, and AWS-based data warehouse/lake architectures
- Solid understanding of AI/ML fundamentals including machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI
- Hands-on experience with generative modelling techniques such as GANs and VAEs
- Knowledge of MLOps and AutoML practices on AWS, including model lifecycle management, AI Ethics, Trust, and Explainable AI
- Proficiency with ML frameworks and tools such as SparkML, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, XGBoost, and H2O
- Strong grasp of foundational statistics and algorithms including regression, random forest, boosting, and ANN
- Ability to guide architectural decisions for AI-driven applications on AWS
- Comfortable with planning, organization, analytics, and problem-solving
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with clients and team members
- Comfortable working with statistics
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
