About the role

  • Support Kyndryl’s overall Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Compliance program
  • Execute various aspects of the SOX Compliance program including planning, scoping, controls testing program and tracking and aggregation of overall control deficiencies
  • Provide input in scoping and planning the timing of the company’s SOX activities
  • Understand internal control deficiencies and obtain adequate documentation to perform assessment and aggregation of company-wide control deficiencies
  • Collaborate with process owners to understand key controls and significant processes changes
  • Prepare clear and concise deliverables
  • Support special projects around internal control and process improvements

Requirements

  • Progressive external and/or internal audit experience in an organization of appropriate scale and complexity including professional experience with SOX 302/404 Compliance
  • Possesses at least one of the following certifications: CPA / Chartered Accountant, CIA, or other equivalent certification
  • Strong understanding of internal control concepts (COSO Framework), SOX compliance requirements, accounting principles (US GAAP, IFRS, PCAOB standards) and SEC regulations
  • Comprehensive understanding and working knowledge of internal auditing (International Professional Practices Framework (IPPF) by the Institute of Internal Auditors)
  • Experience in executing various aspects of a SOX compliance program (including leading and executing SOX audits and performing risk assessments for a global organization)
  • Possesses strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and experience working with a global team
  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Presents and communicates effectively, clearly, and concisely to different audiences, in both English and Portuguese.
