About the role

  • Lead the design of data center infrastructure facilities (including power, cooling, security, and other building systems)
  • Assess existing facilities and propose technical solutions ensuring high availability and efficiency
  • Design and implement data center facilities (UPS, generators, HVAC, etc.)
  • Perform strategic planning for enterprise data centers
  • Provide technical support and project management for new data center launches
  • Manage design and construction of facility work required for system implementation
  • Plan and execute measures for energy efficiency and reduce environmental impact
  • Coordinate and manage vendors and contractors related to tasks
  • Provide technical guidance and development of team members

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent practical experience)
  • Experience in building infrastructure for data centers or similar facilities (preferably 5+ years)
  • In-depth knowledge of one or more areas: UPS, generators, HVAC systems, cooling technologies
  • Project management experience
  • Ability to perform business tasks in Japanese (English proficiency is a plus)
