About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Create local- and wide-area network solutions using multiple platforms and protocols
  • Troubleshoot network issues
  • Coordinate with vendors to install hardware and software, including routers and switches
  • Support project implementation, planning, and cost analysis
  • Build proof-of-concept solutions using networking system technology
  • Review project requirements and communicate them accurately to the team
  • Design and implement LAN and WAN solutions, including IP and VOIP

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 6+ years of experience focused on network support, configuration, and implementation
  • 6+ years of experience in core switching, routing, MPLS, and firewalls
  • Networking and security architecture and engineering support experience across local, regional, and global domains
  • Ability to effectively execute multiple IT projects and deadlines with limited supervision
  • Preferred: Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) deployment and data center experience
  • Preferred: Experience designing and implementing Software Defined Network (SDN) and large complex networks
  • Preferred: Experience with BDP, OSPF, MP-FBP EVPN, VXLAN, or VPC
  • Customer-focused growth mindset and inclusive, collaborative working style
