About the role

  • Develop and maintain data ingestion, processing, and storage solutions using Microsoft Fabric (Pipelines, Lakehouse, Warehouse, and OneLake)
  • Create and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Fabric Data Factory, PySpark, and SQL, ensuring data integrity, quality, and governance
  • Structure and organize data in Lakehouse, applying modeling best practices and layered architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold)
  • Develop semantic models, measures and KPIs, and build reports and dashboards in Power BI integrated with Fabric
  • Work with large volumes of data, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability
  • Monitor pipelines and environments, identifying and resolving platform-related issues
  • Collaborate with business, analytics, and BI teams to translate requirements into efficient data solutions.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric (Pipelines, Lakehouse, Warehouse, OneLake)
  • Strong knowledge of Power BI (modeling, DAX, performance optimization)
  • Experience with ETL/ELT, data transformation, and data modeling
  • Programming experience in Python and/or PySpark
  • Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and transformation
  • Familiarity with Big Data concepts, Data Lake, Data Warehouse, and cloud data architectures
  • Experience with Azure ecosystem services (e.g., Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks)
  • Intermediate English proficiency.
