About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Plan, execute, and analyze A/B tests and multivariate experiments across Shopify stores, including landing pages, product pages, collections, checkout flows, and other critical customer touchpoints.
  • Own the CRO roadmap by identifying conversion opportunities and prioritizing experiments based on potential business impact.
  • Develop data-driven hypotheses and testing strategies focused on increasing conversion rates, revenue, customer engagement, and retention.
  • Apply deep Shopify knowledge to optimize store performance, user experience, and conversion funnels.
  • Collaborate with designers, developers, and marketers to create, implement, and evaluate test variations.
  • Analyze customer behavior using tools such as Google Analytics, GA4, Hotjar, and other analytics and behavioral tracking platforms.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable recommendations based on test results.
  • Create clear and detailed reports covering experiment performance, insights, learnings, and business impact.
  • Continuously improve customer journeys through ongoing experimentation, analysis, and optimization.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), A/B testing, and digital experimentation.
  • Deep hands-on experience working with Shopify and Shopify Plus stores is mandatory.
  • Proven experience designing, implementing, analyzing, and scaling successful A/B testing programs in e-commerce environments.
  • Strong understanding of CRO frameworks, UX principles, customer psychology, and e-commerce conversion funnels.
  • Experience with A/B testing platforms, analytics tools, and behavioral analysis solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and convert insights into actionable growth strategies.
  • Experience working closely with designers and developers to implement testing variations.
  • Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a remote environment.
  • Availability during CET business hours.
  • Strong written and spoken English.
